Welltec in house testing their new two-color injection molding machine 160P in 8 cavities closures production.

The new two-tone injection molding machine by Welltec is optional with vertical, parallel, piggyback arrangements to accomodate multi-component, multi-color injection production. With the rotary platen controlled by servo motor and extra wide tie bar spacing, it's an ideal injection molding machine for the production of 2 color parts.

With 2 sets of independent injection units, the size of two tone injection molding machine will generally larger than a regular servo injection molding machine, it would be very important that when you're choosing a robot for this kind of injection molding machine ,the length of the traverse stroke would be much longer compared to the regular injection molding machine of the same clamping force.
