Welltec in house testing new all electric injection molding machine for medical application 190D with 48 cavities luer lock for syringe picked by Samfacc 3 Axis servo injection robot.
The new D series all electric injection molding machine by Welltec machinery is an injection molding machine designed for precise injection with high productivity. In this project it's producing the luer lock which is a protective cap for syringe. The total cycle time is 12s with robot and the weight of the part is 0.6g/pcs. With ultra rigid structure, the deformation at the hgihest pressure injection is ≤0.05mm with an injection repeatability of ±0.01mm.
In this application, the parts was picked with a Samfacc 3 axis servo Injection Robot. For an all electric injection molding machine, the robot selection can based on the size of the machine, the weight of the parts + EOAT, the total cycle time and the production environment requirement. The medical parts must be produced in a clean room, it'll request the robot to have suitable installation height, free from oil and dust during production and stability during picking and placing to ensure the precision of the parts. It's better to have the robot custom made for the project.
