SWITEK In House Testing New Side Entry IML Robot for 20L Paint Buckets

Abstract:SWITEK new SW8 Series side entry IML robot for the IML production of 20L paint bucket is starting the in house testing before delivery, which is a custom made IML robot according to the requiremnet of the customer.

SWITEK new SW8 Series side entry IML robot for the IML production of 20L paint bucket is starting the in house testing before delivery, which is a custom made IML robot according to the requiremnet of the customer.

The new robot is an upgraded design from our standard SW8 series side entry IML robot, which is a universal IML robot design for the production of containers from small cups for Yogurt to large size container like 55L dustbin with alternation of the robot size and system configuration. The new IML robot in testing has the features below:

  • Split Design -- As an IML robot for the 20L paint bucket for overseas market, we had a split type design of the robot to have the robot arm and the magazine seperated in two parts for an easy stuffing of the container for a safe oceanic shipping.
  • Non-Stop -- Double drawers type magazine design, ensure a non-stop label adding in production and maximize the productivity of the IML system.
  • Rotatable Mandrel -- The rotatabel design mandrel enable the producer to adjust the label joint freely, it's the best structure for the producers of IML paint buckets who will have orders with label joint in different position.

The injection molding machine for this IML project would be YIZUMI FF Series 850T all electric injection molding machine at a cycle time of around 20s.
