Abstract:With more flexibility in the mold opening stroke, two platen injection molding machine is an ideal choice for deep cavity parts IML production. In this case LK chose a double-size in mold labeling solution which the IML robot will insert the label and pick the bucket simultaniously but will request a much larger injection molding machine. An economic subsitution would be a two-step IML solution wich will do the parts picking and label inserting in two seperate steps with a much smaller opening stroke requiremnt.
