The new SWITEK side entry robot SW866 designed for the 1000T injection molding machine is ready for the in house testing, wiht is the largest side entry IML robot ever made by SWITEK Automation.
The new robot is designed for the production of 55L two compartments IML dustbin by an injection molding machine of 1000T. To produce a dustbin with different type of labels, a rectangular outside static charging ring is installed for the metallic label static charging. And for the convenience container loading, the body of the IML robot is also a seperatable design, which means that the body of the IML robot can be seperated to two parts during delivery and re-assembled in the workshop of the factory.
Since the first IML robot on show Chinaplas 2010, SWITEK is continued to follow up the new demand our customer to provide a tailor made system of IML specially designed for their uniqe products. The new 55L two compartments IML dustbin is a new trial of a new IML products which means the static charging solution on a larger label surface, the proper wraping of label on a irregular rectangular mandril etc.
With a team of more thank 15 years' experience in IML solution providing, SWITEK is your best partner to start your own IML project and you're welcomed to contact Adams for a ready to work turn-key IML solutions.

PVC pipe fittings are one of the most commonly used connector in the drainage project and a cold runner designed mold is the most economic solutions for the production of the PVC pipe fittings, but the removal of the runner in result is a labour intensive work. Is there any economic way to remove the runners from the PVC pipe fittings automatically?
For the producer of PVC pipe fittings the most economic soluton to remove the runner is with an Air Nipper fixed to the picking robot immediately after the PVC pipe fittings picked out from the mould. The robot will drop the seperated pipe fittings and runner to different containers. Below configuration of SWITEK runner cutting solution for 16 cavities PVC pipe fittings for your reference:
The Air Nipper runner cutting system is an easy to start solution for the producers of PVC pipe fittings, which the Air Nipper would be controlled by the picking robot and is the best solution for the small size PVC pipe fittings (with a diameter around φ25mm). Anyway it also must be custom made according to the mold design.
